Preserving memory

Linenthal follows the Holocaust Museum from its beginnings in domestic politics, through the many stages of conceptualizing and realizing every aspect of the museum: the choice of a site in Washington's commemorative core, the design of the building, the concept and contents of the exhibition, and the very definition of the Holocaust itself.
